Limber Pine Code of Conduct
At Limber Pine Summer Camp, we believe that spending time in nature helps us grow into strong, curious, and compassionate people. Our camp is built around a love for the natural world and a desire to nurture a lifelong sense of wonder. We invite campers to explore the mountains, challenge themselves, and grow as respectful, brave, and honest leaders.

To make sure everyone has a safe and meaningful experience, each camper agrees to follow this Code of Conduct, which reflects our core values of respect, inclusion, honesty, and bravery.
Campers and parents/guardians should review this code together before camp begins.
Respect
-
Treat every person, place, and living thing with care.
-
Listen to and cooperate with camp leaders and fellow campers.
-
Speak kindly, include others, and help create a space where everyone feels welcome.
-
Show respect for the land—leave no trace, protect wildlife, and practice gratitude for the places we visit.
INCLUSION & COMMUNITY
-
Celebrate differences and be open to learning from others’ experiences and perspectives.
-
Support one another—no teasing, bullying, or exclusion.
-
Take responsibility for helping everyone feel seen, safe, and valued in the group.
HONESTY & INTEGRITY
-
Be truthful in your words and actions.
-
Admit mistakes and use them as opportunities to learn and grow.
-
Follow camp guidelines and take responsibility for your choices, even when it’s difficult.
BRAVERY & LEADERSHIP
-
Step outside your comfort zone—try new activities, speak up, and take part in group discussions.
-
Show courage by treating challenges as opportunities for growth.
-
Be a positive influence: lead with empathy, curiosity, and care for both people and nature.

SAFETY & RESPONSIBILITY
-
Follow all safety instructions during hikes, games, and camp activities.
-
Bring and wear the right gear for outdoor adventure—closed-toe shoes, layers, and weather-appropriate clothing.
-
Stay aware of your surroundings, and tell a staff member right away if something feels unsafe or uncomfortable.
-
Respect personal space, equipment, and camp property—leave things better than you found them.
TECHNOLOGY & CONDUCT
-
Cell phones and electronics should stay tucked away unless staff gives permission for use.
-
Use language that uplifts, not language that harms.
-
Physical or verbal aggression, bullying, or behavior that threatens safety or trust will not be tolerated and may result in dismissal from camp.
COMMITMENT
We want every camper to have the freedom to explore, the courage to grow, and the respect to care—for themselves, for each other, and for the world around them.

If a camper violates this Code of Conduct, Limber Pine reserves the right to take appropriate action, including parent contact, suspension, or dismissal.
If a camper is suspended, a partial refund may be issued for that week. No refunds are given for dismissal due to behavior.
