Outdoor Adventure Programs for Utah Teens
Limber Pine Summer Camp is a nature-based teen summer camp in Utah designed for adolescents ages 13–16 seeking adventure, personal growth, and meaningful connection through the outdoors. Based in the breathtaking Wasatch Mountains near Salt Lake City, our one-week mountain day camp sessions combine hiking, leadership development, teamwork, and service into unforgettable outdoor experiences for teens.
Camp sessions run Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm, with convenient commuter-friendly drop-off and pick-up locations each day. Rather than operating from a single fixed campsite, Limber Pine is intentionally mobile—allowing campers to explore thoughtfully selected mountain destinations throughout Northern Utah while experiencing the diversity and beauty of the Wasatch Range.
Through guided outdoor adventure, teens build confidence, resilience, leadership skills, and lasting friendships while developing a deeper respect for nature and their community. Every week at Limber Pine Summer Camp carries its own unique theme, culture, and set of experiences, creating opportunities for campers to grow socially, emotionally, and physically in supportive outdoor environments.

A Mountain Top Experience
“A Mountain Top Experience” is an outdoor adventure week for teens ages 13–16 designed to challenge and inspire through guided hiking experiences in the breathtaking Wasatch Mountains near Salt Lake City. Each day, campers set out to summit a new peak while building confidence, endurance, leadership skills, and meaningful friendships along the way. Thoughtfully designed to balance adventure, personal growth, and teamwork, this nature-based teen summer camp in Utah encourages adolescents to step outside their comfort zones, connect with the outdoors, and discover what they are truly capable of—both on and off the trail.
An Eye On Service
"An Eye on Service" is a unique five-day summer camp experience for youth ages 13–16 who are passionate about making a difference and connecting with the environment in a meaningful way. Each day, campers will partner with local nonprofit organizations, such as Cottonwood Canyons Foundation, Alta Environmental Center, The Hogle Zoo; among other organizations dedicated to environmental well-being, participating in hands-on service projects that make a real impact—whether it’s trail restoration, habitat clean-up, or conservation work. After about three hours of rewarding service, the group will enjoy lunch together, then hit the trail to explore the very landscapes they’ve helped protect and preserve. This camp is perfect for teens who want to give back, grow stronger, and gain a deeper appreciation for the natural world.


Brave Enough To Lead
"Brave Enough to Lead" is a five-day summer camp designed for youth ages 13–16 who are ready to explore what it truly means to be a leader. Set against the inspiring backdrop of the mountains, each day combines invigorating hikes with engaging leadership discussions, hands-on activities, and creative team challenges. Campers will reflect on different leadership styles, discover their own strengths, and learn how to lead with empathy, courage, and confidence. Whether stepping up in a group, making tough decisions, or simply learning to speak up, this camp is all about finding the bravery within to lead authentically—on the trail and in life.

The Naturalist
"The Naturalist" is week designed for curious youths who are eager to explore and understand the living world around them. Set in the stunning mountain ecosystems of northern Utah, this immersive experience blends science, art, and adventure. Each day, campers will hike into diverse natural settings to study local flora and fauna, learn their names and ecological roles, and engage in lively discussions, creative projects, and hands-on activities that deepen their connection to nature. Through research, literature, and history, participants will gain a richer appreciation of how these ecosystems function—and how we can better care for them.
