“The Naturalist” is a five-day nature exploration camp for teens ages 13–16 designed to inspire curiosity, environmental awareness, and a deeper connection to the outdoors through hands-on learning in the beautiful mountain ecosystems near Salt Lake City. Combining outdoor adventure, science, art, and environmental education, campers hike through diverse natural landscapes while studying local plants, wildlife, and ecosystems throughout Utah. Through guided discussions, creative projects, literature, and interactive activities, participants develop a greater understanding of ecology, conservation, and the interconnectedness of the natural world. Perfect for curious teens who love the outdoors, this nature-based summer camp encourages exploration, critical thinking, and appreciation for the environment while building confidence and lasting friendships in the Wasatch Mountains.
